When should we register our trademark?

We recommend starting trademark registration at least 6–12 months before entering the target market. Some countries apply a "first-to-file" principle, so the earlier you file, the better.

How long does trademark registration take?

It varies widely by country: usually 6–12 months in Central Asia and Russia, and possibly 6–18 months in some Middle Eastern countries, depending on examination and publication.

What if our trademark has been squatted?

An opposition or cancellation can be filed under the target country's law. We help assess the situation and plan a response, working with local lawyers where necessary.
